Allmänt
Produced throughout most of the eighties, the Formanta Polivoks is probably the most legendary synthesizer to come from the Soviet Union. Today, its unique-sounding filter is available in the Latvian-made form of the Erica Synths Black Polivoks V2. This Eurorack module incorporates authentic ICs and serves up a handful of extra options in comparison to the original filter. What's more, the controls are smoother and the 'punch' is definitely better - something that becomes immediately clear when shaping bass-focussed sounds.
